Lions Valley Lodge - Rates

Rates quoted are inclusive of VAT at 14%

Children's Policy:

Maximum of two children in a suite sharing with their parents.

Children are to be accompanied by an adult at all times. The lodge is not fenced and this is a Big Five reserve.

Children under 10 years will only be allowed on adult game drives at the discretion of the lodge staff. A separate drive for these youngsters will be organised if necessary and at least one parent is to accompany their child/children.

For safety reasons children under 4 years cannot go out on game drives. A baby- sitting service can be arranged to care for these youngsters, should both parents wish to go out on the game drives.

Out of consideration for all the guests, children under 10 may only have dinner in the Boma or dining room, at the discretion of the lodge management.

Children are to be supervised by an adult at all times when enjoying the swimming pool and its surrounds.


Destination in Focus
On 18 October Kock sent a patrol into Elandslaagte. There they captured a supply train, and found a stock of whisky. The next day Kock brought the rest of his force into the town. There they rested for the day, before holding a impromptu concert in the town inn!
